FastSearch

FastSearch is a software application that specifically targets command-line platforms or older platforms (for instance, Windows XP) that have lousy search utilities.  We’re all fed up with Windows Search.  This software is an optimized command-line search tool written in Python; it allows you to search within the contents of a file or just file names and extensions.  It supports both local and remote host searching.
